Abstract

Compliance with the installation of fall risk signs is a form of quality assessment from the
Waled Regional General Hospital, Cirebon Regency, starting with the patient coming to
register, check up, until the patient returns, while the installation is like a yellow triangle
or a yellow patient clip bracelet. Several factors influence the patient's risk of falling such
as the patient's condition, hospital environment, drug and alcohol consumption, and the
patient's age. This study used a total sampling of all nurses in the Emergency Room at
Waled Hospital with research instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation
sheets, data analysis was processed in the form of univariate analysis and bivariate
analysis using the chi-square test.
The results of the univariate analysis on the frequency distribution based on nurse
compliance were 52.18% obedient nurses, 47.82% non-compliant nurses, while the
frequency distribution based on security and safety was 52.18% safe and safe, 47.82%
unsafe and unsafe, while bivariate analysis used test evidence chi-square with a p.value of
0.000 means that there is a relationship between nurse adherence in placing fall risk signs
and patient safety in the IGD of Waled Hospital, Cirebon Regency.
Research increases nurse compliance with fall risk signs, improves performance for
nurses and researchers.
