Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is still a global public health problem today. Pulmonary TB is in second place as the
leading cause of death from infectious diseases, after Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) (WHO,
2022). This study uses a non-experimental quantitative research type with a correlational research
design approach that aims to identify the relationship between attitudes and behavior to prevent
transmission of tuberculosis in tuberculosis patients in the Sindangwangi Health Center work area,
Majalengka Regency. By using a cross-sectional approach (Sugiono, 2019), this study is a type of
correlational research between independent variables and dependent variables, where data is collected
at the same time. The results of the research analysis of 50 respondents on attitudes, 11 respondents did
not support (22.0), and most supported 36 respondents (72.0). Meanwhile, in behavior, 14 respondents
did not prevent (28.0) most prevented 36 respondents (72.0) Based on the results of the Chi-Square test
with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a statistically
significant relationship between Attitude and Behavior in this study sample.
